I enjoy surfing the net looking for home remedies for ailments that daily inflict themselves upon us humans. I almost feel like an anthropologist recording all this data. One of my favorites is toenail fungus home remedy.
Below are some of the toenail fungus home remedies that I have found.
Vicks Vapor Rub - soak the infected toe(s) well in warm water. Clean the existing fungus out from under the nail. Apply Vicks Vapor Rub with a Q-tip to the infected area. You must apply this treatment over a period of several months before you get rid of the toenail fungus.
Tree Oil and Lemon Oil - take 2 drops of essential tree oil and 2 drops of essential lemon oil and mix together. Apply this mixture to the toenail fungus twice a day. This remedy could also take several months to get rid of the toenail fungus.
Vinegar - either use a spray bottle or a Q-tip and apply the vinegar under the toenail twice a day for several months.
Listerine - soak the toenail(s) that has the fungus in Listerine mouthwash.
Olive Leaf Extract - ingest an olive leaf extract tablet 3 times daily until the toenail fungus goes away.
Bleach - soak the toenail(s) with the fungus in bleach twice a day until the fungus goes away.
Above are all home remedies that people swear have worked for them to get rid of toenail fungus. There are many more out there but the above seems to be the most popular.
What is important is that you find a remedy that works best for you and you stick with it. Don't expect the toenail fungus will disappear over night.
